Learn more about Autofill.

Autofill is available on all Canva plans except Pro Lite and Canva Free. We'll introduce usage limits in the future.

Step 1: Add data fields to your template or design

You can add data fields to these elements:

  • Text elements, which can be filled with text.
  • Non-text elements such as graphics, frames, shapes, and grids, which can be filled with images or videos.
  • Charts, which can be filled with data from your reports.
  • Sheets, which can be filled with rows of data.

To add data fields:

  1. Open the design or template you want to autofill.
  2. From the editor side panel, select
    Apps.
  3. Search for and select Bulk Create.
  4. Under Choose a starting point, select Labels.
  5. Select the element you want to add a data field to.
  6. From the floating toolbar, select
    Data field.
  7. Enter a name that matches a field in your data, then select Add.
  8. Repeat for every element you want to autofill.
  9. Select Save labels.

Your design is now tagged and ready for Autofill.
